Overview
My name is Zhang Xingfeng, and I am an “Iron Man” with over 25 years of experience in the metal processing industry, specializing in metal sales and project management. My career began in 1999, and since then, I have passionately contributed to this industry. My academic foundation is rooted in a Bachelor’s degree in Information Automation, which has allowed me to excel in my professional journey.
Childhood: Growing up in Dainan, a stainless steel town, I naturally developed a fondness for the metal industry.
1996.9-1999.6: Attended Southeast University, majoring in Information Automation. During my university years, I received awards including Outstanding Student, National Scholarship, and Excellent Student Cadre.
1999.7-2001.10: Started my first job at Maanshan Iron & Steel Company Ltd., as an Assistant Equipment Control. Two years later, I was promoted to Workshop Director, responsible for workshop production safety and technical guidance. During this time, I gained in-depth knowledge of metal processing procedures, becoming proficient in the characteristics and processing methods of metals. I improved production efficiency and quality control capabilities. Additionally, I participated in process optimization and production process improvement, contributing to technical guidance and employee training in the workshop.
2002.8-2007.1: Following my career plan, I moved to Baosteel in Shanghai, where I took on the role of Workshop Director. In 2005, I was promoted to Department Head. During this period, I made significant progress in business management, learning how to develop and implement effective production plans, as well as optimizing resource management to ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Through active involvement in projects, I gained expertise in selecting high-quality raw materials and applying production technologies. This included evaluating the characteristics of different materials and utilizing advanced production processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
I also focused on self-improvement, actively studying and obtaining a certificate as a Mid-level Engineer. These certificates serve as strong evidence of my professional capabilities, enabling me to confidently tackle various technical challenges and engineering projects.
2007.2-2012.5: During this period, I worked diligently at the subsidiary company Baomi, established by my father. I was responsible for inventory and streamlining the supply chain. I successfully optimized the inventory management process, increasing inventory turnover by 30%. By improving supply chain management, we reduced raw material procurement costs, saving the company 20% in purchasing expenses. Additionally, I introduced and optimized an advanced ERP system, reducing shipping error rates and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, I was enthusiastic about research and development, and I invented a glass cleaning rack for one of our clients, Firstar Panel (the world’s largest Display Glass substrate manufacturer), obtaining a patent for the invention.
2012.6-Present: Upon my father’s retirement, I officially took over Alloyxpert, dedicating myself to comprehensive planning and integration of the supply, sales, and production lines. Through precise production planning and quality management, we successfully reduced production costs, leading to a 45% increase in company profits. Additionally, I have focused on team building and talent development. During my tenure, the company’s team cohesion and production innovation capabilities have significantly improved, laying a solid foundation for the company’s continuous development.
2014.3: Established Alloyxpert in Wuxi City, initiating overseas business operations. Concurrently, I assumed the dual roles of Chief Executive Officer and Marketing Director. In terms of sales, I expanded into new domestic and international markets, diversifying the company’s sales channels (both online and offline). This resulted in an 80% increase in company sales in the first year after taking over.
