Basic Info
A stainless steel pipe is a pipe made of stainless steel, usually with excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and aesthetics. They are usually made from stainless steel billets through processes such as cold drawing, cold rolling, or welding, and can be used in various industrial and civil fields.
Characteristics
Corrosion Resistance: Stainless steel pipes have excellent corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of various corrosive media such as oxidation, acid, alkali, salt, etc., and are not prone to rust or corrosion after long-term use.
High Strength: Stainless steel pipes have good mechanical properties, high strength, and good toughness, and are suitable for working environments that withstand high pressure, high temperature, and dynamic loads.
Aesthetics: Smooth surface, elegant texture, exquisite appearance, not easy to pollute, easy to clean and maintain, suitable for places that require a high degree of hygiene and beauty.
Renewable: Stainless steel is a renewable resource, and most stainless steel pipes can be recycled and reused, meeting the requirements of environmental protection and sustainable development.

Product Characteristics – Neutral Salt Spray Test Ranking
The neutral salt spray test is an experimental method commonly used to test the corrosion resistance of metal materials. The corrosion resistance of the material is evaluated by observing the corrosion of the material after being exposed to a salt spray environment for a certain period. Based on the neutral salt spray test results, the corrosion resistance of different grades of stainless steel pipes at room temperature can usually be compared.
Generally speaking, for the results of the neutral salt spray test, AISI 316, AISI 321 and AISI 310 stainless steel pipes with higher corrosion resistance usually perform better, while the corrosion resistance of AISI 304 is slightly worse than these grades.
AISI 316 stainless steel pipe: usually performs well in neutral salt spray tests, has excellent corrosion resistance, and is suitable for a variety of corrosive environments.
AISI 321 stainless steel pipe: performs well in the neutral salt spray test, has excellent corrosion resistance, and is especially suitable for high-temperature corrosive environments.
AISI 310 stainless steel pipe: also generally performs well in neutral salt spray tests, has high corrosion resistance, and is suitable for high temperatures and highly corrosive environments.
AISI 304 stainless steel pipe: Although it has certain corrosion resistance, it may be slightly inferior to other grades in the neutral salt spray test.
