In response to the vast potential for collaboration between China and Russia in the stainless steel sector, Shanghai Steel Union E-commerce Co., Ltd. and Xi’an Beilong Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. are set to co-host the “2024 Stainless Steel China Tour·First Northwest Stainless Steel Industry Chain Conference” to promote mutual economic development and foster synergy within the stainless steel industry chain.
Scheduled for June 14th in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, the event will see the participation of over 20 stainless steel importers led by the General Manager of the Russian Stainless Steel Association. This underscores the high demand in the Russian market for Chinese stainless steel products. With Russia’s annual stainless steel production falling short of 200,000 tons while demand surpasses 700,000 tons, and an annual growth rate of approximately 100,000 tons, Xi’an’s advantageous position in rail transport, particularly with the China-Europe freight train service, facilitates the transportation of stainless steel products, further stimulating bilateral trade cooperation.
As a key distribution center for the stainless steel industry in China’s northwest region, the northwest region provides robust support for the steady rise of the entire northwest stainless steel market. Stainless steel products find wide applications in industries such as petrochemicals, architectural decoration, and machinery manufacturing, with market demand showing sustained growth in recent years.
The conference will offer opportunities for mutual presentations and one-on-one discussions, aimed at breaking down information barriers and exploring win-win scenarios. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to explore the historical landmarks of Xi’an, experiencing the allure of its ancient history.
