Chengjiu Metal’s TP347H stainless steel pipes have successfully won a bid to supply high-temperature boiler pipes for an Indonesian thermal power plant, with three contracts signed totaling nearly 200 tons. This marks a new market entry for Chengjiu Metal’s products following their successful application in U.S. biomass power plants.
Chengjiu Metal has achieved a significant milestone by securing a contract to supply TP347H stainless steel pipes for high-temperature boilers in an Indonesian thermal power plant. The company has signed three contracts, amounting to nearly 200 tons of TP347H pipes.
In recent years, high-quality heat-resistant seamless steel pipes for supercritical power station boilers, operating at temperatures above 620°C, have demonstrated superior resistance to high-temperature steam and coal ash flue gas corrosion. These pipes are designed to endure high-temperature and high-pressure corrosive environments, utilizing advanced heat-resistant alloy design theories that meet international standards. Chengjiu Metal’s CHRA-5 heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel pipes are suitable for ultra-supercritical units operating at 630-650°C, representing the highest-grade stainless steel boiler pipes currently applied in China. These pipes offer excellent aging stability, high long-term strength at elevated temperatures, and superior corrosion resistance.
The TP347H stainless steel pipes, a chromium-nickel-niobium austenitic stainless steel, are specifically designed for high-temperature sections of superheaters, reheaters, and various high-temperature, high-pressure components in large-scale power generation boilers with supercritical pressure parameters. TP347H is one of Chengjiu Metal’s most mature products, with a track record of supplying and applying tens of thousands of tons, earning high recognition from users and being increasingly adopted by foreign power plants in bulk.
This successful bid underscores Chengjiu Metal’s growing presence in the international market for high-quality heat-resistant boiler pipes and highlights the company’s commitment to delivering advanced materials for critical applications in the power generation industry.
