In June 2024, the domestic export volume of stainless steel sheets and coils (width ≥ 600mm) was approximately 318,200 tonnes, a decrease of 14,000 tonnes (down 4.2%) month-on-month, and an increase of 92,400 tonnes (up 40.9%) year-on-year.
From January to June 2024, the cumulative export volume of domestic stainless steel sheets and coils (width ≥ 600mm) was approximately 1,695,400 tonnes, an increase of 327,600 tonnes (up 23.9%) year-on-year.
In June 2024, the domestic export volume of stainless steel strips (width < 600mm) was approximately 31,900 tonnes, an increase of 2,050 tonnes (up 6.9%) month-on-month, and an increase of 6,804 tonnes (up 27.1%) year-on-year.
From January to June 2024, the cumulative export volume of domestic stainless steel strips (width < 600mm) was approximately 161,500 tonnes, an increase of 26,600 tonnes (up 19.8%) year-on-year.
In June 2024, the domestic export volume of stainless steel coils (sheets + strips) was approximately 350,100 tonnes (a two-year high), a decrease of 3.3% month-on-month, and an increase of 34.26% year-on-year.
From January to June 2024, the cumulative export volume of domestic stainless steel coils (sheets + strips) was approximately 1,856,900 tonnes, an increase of 252,900 tonnes (up 15.77%) year-on-year.
